This weekend the husband and I took a trip to the Brooklyn Bridge Park. It was the first time we have been to the park all summer. When we lived in Carroll Gardens, we were at down at this park every other weekend. Now living in Bay Ridge we have to make a conscious decision to make the trek. We took for granted living so close to such a beautiful location. It's amazing how much has changed within a year, like the new shops along the water front including a huge beautiful West Elm. I'm so happy that we took a trip to downtown Brooklyn, it's by far one of my favorite areas of the city.
