Weekend Wear: Velvet Snow

This weekend we had quite the snowstorm here on the east coast. It was the first snowstorm of the season, and in NYC we accumulated the amount of snow we would get through out winter in this one storm. Of course, my husband and I had planned a party this weekend which we thankfully decided to postpone till this coming weekend. We were skeptical about the amounts they were saying we would get but I'm happy that we decided to go ahead and postpone it.

The day after a snowstorm I always feel like a kid. I want to go sledding and build a snowman. It's one of those times where I wish I had a kid or lived closer to my nephew. Nothing sounds better to me then going sledding and then going to Farmacy for some hot coco and ice-cream (icecream to me is an all year round thing). So we bundled up and headed out for a bit. Walked around the hood and picked up a few things from the store...boring grown up stuff if I do say so myself.
