Holiday Dressing: New Years Eve in Mexico
I can't believe we are in mid-November already. Where does the time go? In no time we'll be celebrating Christmas and New Years! Am I the only one starting to plan what to wear on New Years Eve? This year I'll be celebrating NYE in MEXICO! I can not wait to feel the sand between my toes and drinking coladas poolside. This year I'm looking for a sparkly NYE dress but with a loose beachy feel. I'm really loving the Electric Sky Embellished maxi from Free People. The color and the shape scream vacation. I also love the For Love and Lemon's Heather Scarf Midi Dress for the same reason, though I'm not sure how I feel about the long sleeves. The Jet Set Diaries dress is a bit sexier and has more of that NYE night time feel. So torn.
What would you wear on NYE in Mexico?

Hairspirational: Fall Hair Shake Up
I've had my ombre hair color for a long time...well over a year. I kept my hair pretty simple since last year I didn't want to crazy with color because of my wedding. With nothing holding my hair back this fall I decided I wanted to shake things up. I miss having the red hair but i didn't just want to go red I wanted to try an eggplant/plum color. Something a little different. And dark for the fall. I've been trying to grow my hair out again but I can't seem to do it, my hair drives me crazy...plus I don't style it nearly often enough to have it long. So chop chop.
Thanks to my girls at ARROJO (Ashley for color and Lee for cut). It was also great to have my mom there getting her hair cut by my girl as well.

Outfit Post: All Black, All Day, Everyday
Sweater: Altuzarra for Target | Leggings: Aritzia | Shoes: & Other Stories | Bag: c/o R&Em |
Sunglasses: Feathers Boutique
I must admit I've been loving this weather in NYC. We've been having such a cool fall, 60s into the 70s. Which has allowed me to live in my black vegan leather leggings. And as any New Yorker, black leather leggings are meant to be paired with black sweaters. All black everything. For me all black can be boring so I love picking black pieces with details, like the appliqué of the swans on the sweater or the gold details on the black.
How do you wear all black?

Outfit Post: Powder Pink + A Giveaway
Sunglasses: Feathers Boutique | Earrings: c/o Emma Winston
What's more feminine and flirty then a powder pink vest and a white feathered skirt? This is one of my favorite looks that I've pulled together in a long time. I picked this vest up at Banana Republic on sale (with an extra 50% off!), I walked the store about ta thousand times before actually making the purchase. And I'm glad that I did! I must say though the icing on top was these Emma Winston crawler floating earrings. These earrings a delicate yet bold. I adore that these in particular had a earcuff feel to them and can be worn multiple ways (I love multi-purpose anything!). And in true FNYG style, here styles are affordable for these stunning and unique pieces of jewelry (starting from $70 to about $200).
And you can now enter to win your own pair of earrings! Emma Winston New York is giving away A Free Pair of Floating Earrings, a pair of Studs, and 2 $25 gift cards to 4 lucky fashionistas!

Outfit Post: Turtleneck Hair Tuck
Bad hair day? Greasy hair? Or just a case of bed hair don't care? Well the turtleneck hair tuck is the perfect solution for all of these hair dilemmas. The tuck gives you the fake bob look while hiding your hair's secrets. This hair-do is perfect for a weekend look with boyfriend jeans...or for those mornings where there just isn't enough time to shower or to do your hair. I can't get enough of this look this fall/winter.

Weekend Wear: I'm a Leopard DUH
As I've gotten older Halloween has gotten tamer and tamer. This year my friends hosted a Halloween/birthday party. Super laid back but included my favorite activity: making smores by a fire pit. I still do love Halloween, mostly to see all the little kiddos all dressed up. Our neighborhood was hopping Saturday night with everyone trick or treating and all dressed up. I look forward to the day when we have a kid. I loved Halloween as a kid in the city. The building my cousins lived in (a block away from me) use to have kid friendly parties in the basement we would go and play bobbing for apples and dance to Thiller then we would all go trick or treating together. Those are one of my favorite childhood memories. And I want to recreate memories like that for my kids.
How was your Halloween?
