What is more inspiring then strong, courageous women (and men) who are cancer survivors? My Aunt is one of these beautiful women who battled breast cancer...but sadly lost her battle 7 years ago. My Aunt was in remission for 10 years until she found out that the cancer was back...and spread to her bones. She was the strongest and most courageous women I knew. She was not only a breast cancer survivor but was a mother, a sister, an aunt, a New York City Marathon finisher and was VP of HR at corporate for a major bank. She was a boss lady! She taught me everything that I know about being a women in the corporate world. I feel so blessed to have been able to not only be her niece but to have worked with her and learn from her. Still to this day she's my hero. Much like all cancer survivors are heroes. I hold a special place in my heart for Breast Cancer Awareness month...that's why I'm so honored to partner with Glamuet in support of their Pink October campaign. This month Glamuet will donate 50% of their sales to charities that supports Breast Cancer Research.
