Favorite Holiday Looks with Tagspire

I've teamed up with Tagspire to help you get a head start on your Holiday party outfit planning. Tagspire is a brand new unique social commerce website that helps you monetize your photos. This is another way for us fashion bloggers to not only make money but to help YOU (our beloved readers) find what you like on our sites easier and faster! The tagging system will allow us to tag our own unique photos with multiple websites, which then directs you, the reader, to the website of the item to purchase. The poster of the picture will make commission off of every sale they make from their tagged photos. Much like how Pinterest works, Tagspire users can follow other users and their boards, which adds that unique social shopping experience to it. With the Holiday season quickly approaching Tagspire can help find the looks that our readers want and also help with their Holiday shopping. Us bloggers can now create unique shopping post for the holiday season since Tagspire has us covered in all categories from fashion to beauty to home to travel.

The Holiday season for me is a time to glam it up. From fierce make-up to metallics. It's the time of the season you get to have fun with materials that you don't really wear much during the year (aka sequins!).

Formal Holiday Party

The Dress. Go glam for a formal party. I love playing with volume. If you go for a tulle skirt dress make sure it has a grown up twist like a deep neckline and back, like this Alice + Olivia dress. Black is always in season, but for the holidays play with something that has a hint of metallic in it.

The Shoes. If you do a black dress go bold with a metallic shoe. Play with different colors. I love this berry red color from Gianvito Rossi. Metallic shoes will make the whole look pop and give it that festive Holiday vibe.

The Clutch. When doing a statement piece like the dress and shoes go for simple handbags that have a interesting structure detail like this ASOS clutch. It's sleek but still interesting.

The Accessories. Keep all accessories clean and simple. Try a modern take on pearls like this Kate Spade bangle. Play with layering rings to make a understated statement.

The Make-up. For a formal night time event breakout the deep red lipstick. You want a lipcolor that has more of darker undertones, like hues of blues and purples, that give it a more deep rich color. Do golden smokey eyes to elegantly match your metallic pieces.

Casual Dinner Party

The Outfit. Informal dinner parties are really when you get to break out the fun sequin tops. Keep the look sophisticated by adding black wax coated jeans. These jeans will give it a ultra cool vibe.

The Shoes. Have fun with printed pumps. A leopard print pump like these Steve Madden pumps can show off your wild side.

The Bag. You can use your favorite everyday little handbag or add in colors like this burgundy color bag from Charles & Keith.

The Make-up. You know me...I love a good cat eye. My go to liquid eyeliner is Kat Von D's Tattoo Liner in black. It's easy to use, allows you to play with the thickness of the line, and the brush doesn't split! Play with a fun cat eye paired with a red lip. This red lip color can be bolder and brighter since it's an informal occasion. Plus, it will brighten up the face against the black eyeliner.

The Office Party

The Dress. Navigating the office party dress code can be tricky. You don't want to be under dress but then you don't want to be that girl. You can play it safe with a LBD (little black dress) paired up with fierce accessories. Or you can step it up a notch with something a little shimmery, it is the Holiday's after all. Just be mindful of the cut and length. Go for something more traditional like a pencil skirt or shift dress. This Dorthy Perkins dress is perfect for an office party setting because it's classically cut and it has just enough shimmer to it. When looking for an office party dress either go for dark tones or when doing something light go for Champagne notes.

The Shoes. Pumps, every office girls favorite pair of shoes. They are perfect to have around in your closet for a everyday look, as well as a night time look. Pair your little black pump with your dress.

The Bag. Whether you do a LBD or something in champagne make your accessories pop. Add in a colorful bag like this cobalt blue suede bag from Karen Millen. This blue will make a nice juxtaposition against the champagne color.

The Accessories. Play off the color of your handbag. If doing a blue handbag do a blue earring, like these Kate Spade small square earrings. This will help tie the whole look together. Add a sleek rose gold watch to compliment the dress.

The Make-Up. Since it's an office party keep the make-up minimal. Do neutral eyes, you can even do a smokey eye with brown tones. You can use palettes like Urban Decay's Naked 2. Stay away from fire engine red lipstick. Play with light shades of pinks. Look for something that has a hint of shimmer in it like the Laura Mercier in Rosewater.
