Nothing says fall like plaids. And this fall it's all about mixing and matching plaids. Designers like Timo Weiland, Tommy Hilfiger, and DKNY sent models down the runway dressed up in array of plaids. Now, you can play with plaids too! If you don't want to go to matchy matchy with plaids try mixing different types of plaids, try traditional tartan prints with more of the window pane print. Remember to keep colors similar. To feel less school girl like, add boyish touches like tailored trousers or boxy sweaters.
How I Wore the Look:
Top: Loft | Pants: Zara (similar style here) | Shoes: Zara (similar style here) | Hat: Aldo | Bag: Zara |
During lunch one week I happened to stop in LOFT and found this sweater..it was 40% off and had my name written all over it. I already knew this was going to be paired up with my plaid bottoms. I love mixing prints, why not try and mix up plaids? This is one of my favorite looks that I have pulled together. I need to remember this one for fashion week in February!
Are you ready to mix and match plaids?
Awesome find at LOFT. LOVE this look! Super chic. Agree about adding some boyish details to balance out the look.

You've mixed these plaids perfectly. There was a pair of plaid pants that I left behind last season and I kind of wish I hadn't!
ReplyDeletecrushed it! I'm in love with every piece of this look!
