This weekend was full of exciting wedding stuff including looking at wedding bands and starting a small wedding registry at Crate and Barrel. Since the fiance and I were near Central Park we decided to take a small little stroll and snap some pictures. It was a lot colder on Saturday then I thought it would be, but thankfully I decided to throw on my pashmina scarf. I'm going to just admit it now I love pashmina scarves that NYC street vendors sell. They are inexpensive and the ones I have bought have lasted a long time. I have a ever growing collection of them. Scarves during the winter are not only one way to keep warm but can really pick up a look. You can add a pop of color by using a scar or you can use it to mix prints, especially prints you would't necessarily think of mixing. I don't think I would have ever tried mixing houndstooth and plaid together if it wasn't for my scarf.

Are you a scarf fan?

  2. Your little plaid shorts are so cute! Also, is your hair different? It looks lighter in these pics- I love it :) I'm definitely a scarf fan, especially in these freezing temps!

  4. I mean, you deserve so many props for this post - #1 because of how COLD it's been in NYC (how did you brave it and shoot?), and #2 because you're accessorized to the nines. That hat and scarf are perfection!

  11. There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith.
