photo from J.Crew
I saw this photo posted sometime early last month on J.Crew's site, not only did it inspire me to save it but it really inspired me to pull off the metallic print pants with a denim top. This look is great for work and for play. It's a grown up work look that doesn't make me feel like I'm trying to play dress up.
For me this whole look really was about the denim top with the metallic print pants. Instead of throwing in another print to this look, I paired my metallic threaded Zara pants with a metallic heel to compliment each other. When trying this look for the first time and for work, I kept all accessories minimal. It keeps the look clean and focused on the pairing.

What do you think about the denim top with a metallic print pants? Would you give it a try?
Ooh I would TOTALLY give this a try! Love the way you styled it even more, especially with the topknot! :)
