Inspirational Monday: Overalls

It's the 90s child in me that loves the overall trend. I had picked up my first overall dress in about 20 years a few months back during a Theory sample sale (worn way back in January, here). I actually couldn't wait to wear this dress again except without tights...and a long sleeve shirt. I actually had this exact outfit in mind for a long time now, just waited for the weather to get warm enough to wear it without anything over or under it.

So glad the weather is warm and sunny...finally! Bring on bare legs and bare arms! 

What do you think of the overall trend? I'm thinking my next purchase will be a pair of short denim overalls...or that Topshop overall dress...

    I love overall dresses, but I can't do the overall shorts thing... reminds me too much of elementary school!

    I love this look...and you matured it up with the blouse. Its real easy to look like a kid in overalls but you rocked it perfectly!

    I can't believe overalls are back. I def used to rock them when I was younger. I havent purchased any and I think I may pass on this trend for now just because I am trying not to shop! :x
