On a very snowy Friday night designer Demi Park debuted her Fall 2013 collection to a full Studio tent. Honestly, I couldn't think of a more perfect night for her to show this season's collection of Parkchoonmoo, it was a weird twist of faith that this line would be inspired by glaciers in the Arctic Sea while New York was under a blizzard. Much of her collection was perfect for the weather conditions that were happening outside: chunky sweaters, vest, and puffy jacket. This season much like her past season had a sense of causal coolness to it.

I must say I love that Park had her models walk down the runway with tennis shoes, which is totally different since we are all so use to seeing models clunking down the runway in sky high heels. There was just a sense of realness to it. These sneakers gave the look the overall leisureliness that her line is full of. I've never been a fan of puffer jacket until I saw Park's down and leather coat with padded wrap, mostly because I wish I had it on to heel a cab out in the snow. My favorite look that literally made me gasped the cream alpaca coar with wool knit collar and sleeve. The color was perfect and just the ease of it. I also love the chunky wool knit sweater over the slouchy pants. It is my preferred type of look when heading out into the cold.
What do you think of this collection? How do you dress for the winter?
I love all the of the winter whites- so crisp and fresh. My favorite look too is the last one on the left, so effortlessly chic.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous looks! My favorite also in white!
