What I used:
1. Old pair of shorts
2. Fringe trimming from MJ Trimming (I bought a yard which was MORE then enough)
4. White thread
5. Sewing Needles
6. Pair of scissors
7. Pearl Head Pins
Steps:
1. First you want to measure out your fringe a long the pocket of your shorts.
2. Once you have your desired amount cut the fringe.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 on the second pocket.
4. Once you have both fringes cut you can begin to dye the ends. I used the SEI Tumble Tie Dye since I still had some left over from my DIY tie dye shorts. With using this all I did was spray the bottoms of my fringes.
5. Once your fringe is dye and dried. PLEASE make sure your fringe is dry or dye will get on the shorts. Pin the ends of your fringe to the pockets using the pearl needle head pins so that you can start sewing them on.
6. Once you have them pinned you can start sewing your fringe.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 on the second pocket.
8. Once you are done stitching your fringe to your shorts throw them in the drier for 15 minutes so that the dye really sets in.
