Outfit Post: Life's a Picnic

What says spring like a gingham print?! This whole look reminded me of a picnic...which is all I wanted to do instead of sitting inside of a warm office with no natural sun light. This look was just generally fun and definitely gave a boost to my day.

I've had some really exciting things happen this week and I just wanted to share them with you guys. Firstly I can't believe that I made it on the front page of Chictopia.com's homepage and have received way over 200 votes on my look-- Hoppity Easter.



SECONDLY! Back in February during Fashion Week I was sitting in Starbucks waiting to go to a show when I was stopped by one of the art directors of Marie Claire asking me if I wanted to be featured in one of their monthly features called What I Love About Me. How could I say no? Well I of course jumped on the opportunity and ever since have been patiently waiting to see if I was featured. Well thanks to Nicole from NYC On My Mind for buying May's Marie Claire and making me aware that my photo was in it! That's RIGHT yours truly is in Marie Claire's May Issue!!
