I honestly believe the best thing since sliced bread is the teaming up of YouTube and Fashion Week. You can now live stream videos at youtube.com/liverunway. Thank god for this. It's so great that you can have a bit of the experience without even being there even though it makes me kinda sad. And not only can you live stream but you can also tweet while watching! This will ruin my productiveness at work for sure.
I watched the Ruffian show this morning and WOWZERS! I was dying at my desk! They have everything from patent leather to tuxedo inspired pieces to sequins. It's also great to know that lace will still be in for the fall.

photos from style.comThe tailor tuxedo reminds me of the Zara lookbook from last month expect this one has a high price and is top off with patent leather. Everything about this look is polished and has feminine touches even if it has menswear details. I also love that they end the show with the long sequib dress. It is so perfect and so elegant. It's flashy but not over the top. This collection is just amazing and I really enjoyed watching it live (even if it was just on my computer).

I am a huge fan of the garconne aesthetic, so the blurred definition of masculine/feminine really appeals to me, and thanks for mentioning the YouTube partnership, I have been living under a rock, and did not even know (*shame face*)
