Once again Gwen Stefani impressed me. She is really making herself a legit designer. I'm loving the different feels in this collection. Tribal prints, bright colors, military inspiration, and men's wear! With all these different inspirations it shows us all that fashion is fun and that we should try different looks. Also the styling shows how you can wear the different pieces with different inspiration like a tribal print jacket with a men's wear inspired suit. Sticking to who she is of course there is some rocker glam like the leather suit. What always impresses me is when the collection is something that can be taken off the runway and added to your day to day dressing. This excatly what this collection is pieces and outfits that can be taken off the runway and be worn by real woman like the long camel trench coat or the military green shirt with the camel leather pants. I also love that models are walking down the runway smiling! It makes me feel like the clothes are enjoyable to wear and that I would be smiling if I was wearing them.
What do you guys think of this collection?
I never expected Gwen's designs to be so...effortlessly cool. Her style has always been her own but her quirks never translated into easy dressing to me...and yet I want all of the looks you posted here! (especially that to die for camel coat and the printed maxi.) Totally with you on your collection review.

ReplyDeleteyes I love L.A.M.B. the looks were awesome! :D
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it! Somehow, it is all very versatile and wearable, without losing any edge. Thumbs up. I especially love the 2nd look (camel! Thank God it's not going out of fashion any time soon) and 2nd to last (sexyyyy). :)
