Last night was a late night for me. I usually don't have those anymore during the weekdays being that I'm a "grown up" now. Anyway the show was great. It's sad that it might be a year till I see Kevin Devine again since they won't be on tour because they are going to make another cd (which is exciting) and Kevin Devine has a side project with another band called BadBookMusic. This band consist of Kevin Devine and the band Manchester Orchestra (who is another phenomenal band!). They played a lot of songs they usually don't play and a few of the ones as expected like Cotton Crush. I woke up this morning with the song Fever Moon in my head it was a little ridic. Also every time I hear the Ballgame all I can think about is being on the boat and that being the last song as we head back to the dock. The song opens up with the line "A good man doesn't drink but I've been drinking alone" as he sang that I chugged my last bit of beer and my best friend laughed at me because it was just perfect timing. It's just one of those songs that brings a smile to my face. It's weird how certain songs can take you back to a time and a place. That night on the boat was a good time. First concert I have ever been on a boat for and only had one other experience afterward.

Oh Land like expected was great. She is so adorable. You can't help but love her. Her music is so catchy and her style is fantastic. She had on a fringe shirt, sparkly leggings, and wedge booties that I'm almost positive were Jeffery Campbell's. Yes the girl got style for sure!

Well I'm glad we are now half way through the week! 2 more days to go!!!
