Steal the Look for Less: Mischa Barton

I like to call this the casual hipsiter. Mischa is looking comfy in her jean leggings, some sky high wedges, a flowy white tank top and a button down collar shirt. This look is ultra cool and chic. She took a casual look but didn't make it look sloppy.

In order to pull this look off all you need is a loose white tank top, a long button down shirt, jean leggings (or ultra skinny jeans), wedged sandals, and a oversized sunglasses.

Try a nude or neutral colored button down shirt with jean leggings. The Jeffery Campbell shoe's from Urban Outfitters are a perfect match for Mischa's look. They are a bit pricey but I find that most people are willing to put in the money for expensive shoes because they will get a lot of use out of them. These Jeffery Campbell's are perfect from Spring to Fall weather, for the fall you can wear them with socks or stockings. Try a loose fitting tank top, white or off white, to wear under your button down shirt. Instead of button your shirt leave it unbutton for a casual cool summer look. Do a over the shoulder clutch bag like Mischa's. If you want to go for something a little different do a studded clutch bag. Don't forget to top the look off with some oversized sunglasses.

If you want another variation try to do a nude colored cardigan instead of a button down shirt, like in outfit 3 above. Or if you have or want to buy a tan leather motorcycle jacket (also depends on the weather of your region) try that over a loose fitting tank top. Also try a color that stands out like her tan color which has a burnt organe color to it. Try for something like the Olive Green button down cotton shirt from J Crew in outfit 2 above.

This look is the perfect brunch with friends outfit not to casual but not dressy. Have fun in it and feel like the casual hipster you are.
