Inspirational Tuesday: Sailor

Since I didn't get in till way late last night from Lake George I didn't have the chance to do my new feature so I'm making up for it today.

The inspiration for today's feature is Sailors and anchors. After being in Lake George and being surrounded by boats I feel inspired to do a feature on sailors and anchors. I even wore my red sailor dress when we rode on a steamboat! Plus, since it was Memorial Day weekend and fleet week here in the city why not make this feature sailor inspired.

I love everything about anchors and rope accessories. Stripes and high waisted shorts are perfect and just pair it up with some wedge sandals and red lip stick. I think sailor inspired outfits are adorable. If pulled off correctly it won't look to much like a costume. You don't have to be decked out in anchors to get the point. Simple high waisted shorts with a striped shirt and wedge sandals would be more then perfect to pull the sailor look together. Fun accessories like rope bracelets and anchors bags are perfect for any outfit. Anchor tote bags are the perfect accessory for the beach and to carry all your beach needs.
